PARIS, JE T'AIME - #AWALKTHROUGH

Since you probably don't have an eternity, but can only spend a few days here - just like we did at Maison&Objet this trade fair season - we are sharing some of the most important must-dos for us in our #awalkthrough Paris. Cover photo by @missismacchiato .

No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. To capture its full grace and beauty, you can see it from below, from above or from far away (so from anywhere!). Of course, it looks especially beautiful together. It is, after all, the city of love.

You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the roof of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The Galeries Lafayette is one of the "Grands Magasins" of Paris. Not only is there unusual fashion to experience here (although there is a lot of it). There are also baking courses for the world-famous macarons, for example.

Maybe you want to let Paris literally melt in your mouth (after all, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!) - and the city offers plenty of opportunities for that. How about the classic French wine and cheese combination or plenty of sugary pastries? There are plenty of small boulangeries and patisseries in Paris. Montmartre is particularly picturesque and waiting to be visited - but wherever you are in the city, fresh coffee and croissants are the perfect duo for a fresh start to the Parisian morning!

Once your fashion and culinary curiosity has been satisfied, it's time to turn your attention to art. It's not without reason that everyone has heard of the Louvre. It's simply a stunning place where you can easily spend a whole day. But if you've been there before or are looking for a more intimate feel, the Musée de l'Orangerie is also a great destination. It's best known for its exhibition of Claude Monet's Water Lilies. Alternatively, you can head to the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, which is the place to go for both art and architecture!

Last but not least, the parks of Paris are also worth seeing. Our favorite is the Parc des Buttes Chaumont with its beautiful lake, bridges, waterfalls and a great view of the city.
