This week I would like to introduce you to Promobo. This wonderfully diverse shop has two locations in Berlin, once in the Hackesche Höfe and once in Bikini Berlin.
Mareike Rimpl is the managing director of Promobo and told me a little about the concept and what makes the store special:
What is the basic concept of your business and what do you want to convey?
In our stores you can buy carefully selected designer and manufactured products; many products are designed and produced in small studios and workshops in Germany. When selecting products, we focus on trendy but also unusual items that surprise the customer, make them laugh and thus create a special shopping experience.
In addition, we offer product designers and manufacturers the opportunity to sell their products through rental boxes and online at www.promobo.de .
How does Pickmotion fit into your concept?
Pickmotion is a friendly small German company and the cards convey emotions, which fits perfectly with Promobo's desire for a positive shopping experience for customers.
What is special about your shop? How do you combine art and culture?
The crazy product mix and the friendly atmosphere are what makes our shop special.
We combine art and culture in our articles - products created by artists and creative people. This naturally fits perfectly with the culturally valuable locations of our stores such as Hackesche Höfe and Bikinihaus.
What do you particularly like about Pickmotion?
The motifs are extremely well chosen and immediately appealing.
The postcard motifs are very diverse and varied, as they do not all come from the same pen – here everyone will find a must-have card!
The format is small and fine and the cards are absolutely suitable for everyday use.
