Where exactly is your shop located? What does it look like?
We have three lovely paper shops in Helsinki, Finland. One in Töölö, Runeberginkatu 44, one in Ullanlinna, Korkeavuorenkatu 19 and one in Kallio, Fleminginkatu 5. All three shops are really cosy and inviting and have a great selection of paper products and toys and games for children.
What’s the basic concept of the shop?
Our goal is to inspire and bring joy to our customers. About half of our products are our own Putinki-designs, which include cards, notebooks, calendars, posters and other lovely paper products. Other brands, such as PICKMOTION, bring great versatility to our selection.
In your opinion, how does your shop fit with PICKMOTION and its products? How did you become aware of PICKMOTION?
Our customers love PICKMOTION’s whimsical cards and magnets. Our Putinki team found PICKMOTION at a Trade Fair in London. At first, we took a small selection as a test, but soon noticed the potential of these products. A few years later we also designed our own range of PICKMOTION magnets with Putinki’s illustrators.
What’s special about your shop? How do you use the advantage of being a steady retailer? How do you differentiate yourself from other shops and/or webshops?
Our shops have a great nostalgic paper shop atmosphere even though we carry a lot of modern items. We are a go-to shop for customers who are looking for presents and cards for their loved ones and paper products for themselves. Our card selection is one of the best in the country.
What do you like most about PICKMOTION? Which products are your favourites?
We love the joy of PICKMOTION designs. Even though the day would be grey, your designs bring a smile on our faces. Also, the cards and magnets with empowering messages are great gifts for a friend or just for yourself.
