TAKING AWESOME PICTURES INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT STYLE

@mfcorridan, of Irish-Spanish descent, has been studying photography at a private university in Berlin since 2012. He was born in Ireland and grew up in paradise: Tenerife's diverse natural scenery, from the beaches to the dry, volcanic south of Tenerife with its black earth and fog, has had a strong influence on Mauricio. "I'm really a nature fan! When I was little I always watched documentaries and to this day I love National Geographic," he says.

After studying advertising and public relations in Spain, he gave his life a new turn and, after some time in Switzerland, moved to Berlin to study with his girlfriend @oljaryz . They both go to the same school and Olga also plays an important role on Mauricio's stream.

The 30-year-old has been using Instagram as his portfolio since last summer. He loves traveling with Instagram and the many opportunities to meet creative people and find friends through the platform. Nevertheless, he says: "Instagram is a great platform for photography, but not the best for photographers." Many of his favorite pictures get few likes, an experience that many others certainly share.

After six months in Tenerife and a semester in Seoul, he is back in Berlin. "Seoul is a very modern and unfortunately expensive city. The super polite people have a lot of style, but communication is difficult if, like me, you don't speak Korean," says Mauricio. He loved working with Korean models because of their style, their openness and their craziness. Zaha Hadid's Design Plaza and the rooftops above Gangnam were particularly inspiring to him.
