Where exactly is your store located? What does it look like where you are?
Schätze Bergen is located in the beautiful Frankfurt district of 'Bergen', right in the middle of the main street. The district was recently incorporated and still has its village character, characterized by half-timbered houses and historical monuments. My shop, with its modern concept, stands in contrast to the surroundings, but fits in wonderfully.
What is the basic concept of your store and what is special about it?
I have beautiful things. Selected design for everything to do with living. These include small pieces of furniture, lights, accessories, gifts, decorations and stationery. The shop should enhance the cityscape, invite everyone to browse and bring joy. There are so many unusual things to discover here. I furnish and decorate areas more like at home, the items are mixed, sometimes just sorted by color or theme. You have to take some time to see everything. If you do that, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. In combination with my work as an interior designer, the shop should also be a meeting place and also make residential projects possible beyond sales.
How did you find Pickmotion? How do you fit in with Pickmotion?
Pickmotion and I – it was love at first sight! We are a perfect match, and not just since I became a shop owner. I love this mix of nostalgia, paired with beautiful and unusual motifs and sayings. Every card has that “wink”!
What do you particularly like about Pickmotion?
Pickmotion fits perfectly with my concept. They are unusual and beautiful. I don't keep the cards on a stand, but rather they are spread out around the shop, mixed in with the other beautiful things and complementing or completing them perfectly.
