#MEETTHETEAM LYDIA - INSIGHT INTO THE STORY

Although Lydia was born in Magdeburg and grew up in Brandenburg, she has always been a Berliner at heart. Her family has always lived in the Berlin suburbs, so she was lured to the big city at an early age. In 2008, Lydia finally moved to Berlin and found her home first in the beautiful Pankow and now in Lichtenberg. There are many beautiful places in Berlin: Köpenick has many places to offer, but she also thinks that Weissensee and Viktoriapark in Kreuzberg are always worth a visit. When it comes to eating out, Lydia likes to go to Prenzlauer Berg, while the best bars can be found at Frankfurter Tor or Pankow. Her insider tip: the fantastic Czech bar "Prager Frühling".

Lydia's heart beats especially for her friends! That's why she loves exploring Berlin with them or going to concerts with them (preferably rock or metal). One of her favorite concert moments was the day she and two friends celebrated her 18th birthday at Farin Urlaub's concert. A friend had prepared a banner especially for the occasion and the entire audience, including Farin Urlaub, sang her a serenade!

By the way, Lydia has a rather unusual hobby: in her free time she does what is known as reenactment. Together with a club that is based in the 15th century, Lydia recreates historical life. There they fence, shoot crossbows, dance and even run a bathhouse. Sometimes they can also be found at festivals, such as the Hussite Festival in Bernau, where they set up medieval tents, recreate camp life, explain armour and cook according to historical recipes. Lydia is also responsible for the historical bathhouse and provides guests with drinks and a shoulder massage. For her, it is the best way to relax after everyday life!

In her working life, Lydia now supports us with ordering after having previously worked in retail for many years. Her favorite PICKMOTION motif is "Berlin... I know it, I know it, I've been there" (B-0192), which we created with @lindaberlin because she loves Berlin so much! We are delighted to have Lydia and her open-minded personality on our team!
