Her parents are from Berlin, but she was born and raised in the Sauerland before moving back to the capital at the age of 17 - Jana has no place as rooted as Kreuzberg, Berlin. When she came to SO36, the rents were low, there was no Markthalle 9 and all the side effects of the "city to be" anywhere - you can see that Jana has seen many people move away, sees them struggle every day and that she never loses touch with reality.
After starting two courses in social work and business administration, she eventually trained as an event manager and worked in catering and in two large hotels. At Pickmotion, she is responsible for accounting and also works in the event management and sales team. Jana is a multitasking genius and master of any chaos.
When she leaves the office in the afternoon, she often goes to Görlitzer Park, even though she now lives in Friedrichshain... together with Betty, her Jack Russell terrier mix - "Betty is already known there. It's her park," she says, laughing. Jana still maintains many relationships with the residents around Lausitzer Platz, she campaigned against Markthalle 9 and Görlitzer Park doesn't scare her - she's just like Betty.
Jana's favorite card is the ZG-0239-EN - because it reminds her of her own road trips with her brother's VW bus.
