Dana was born and raised in Syria. At the age of 13, however, her journey continued through various countries when her parents decided to move abroad. In 2016, her family moved to Mönchengladbach in Germany and Dana eventually moved on to Würzburg to start her studies in communication design. When it was time for a mandatory internship, she applied to PICKMOTION because she was immediately drawn to our fun and aesthetic designs. She came to Berlin for the internship and quickly fell in love with our beautiful capital. So much so that she decided to stay here, true to her mantra "if there's a will, there's a way". We are very happy about her decision, because this means Dana can continue to support us as a working student in the field of communication design & social media while she finishes her studies here in Berlin!
In her free time, Dana enjoys browsing flea markets in the city or working out at a gym. She also loves taking long walks and hikes to explore new areas. And when time allows, she loves spending time with her family at the beach, because the cool sea breeze is the best way to enjoy summer.
Dana describes herself as a collector - one thing she particularly likes to collect is the PICKMOTION postcards! One of her favorite motifs is the grumpy cat "stay positive" (ZG-0292-EN), which we designed in collaboration with @poonchic . The picture makes her laugh every time. We are very happy that Dana will remain on our team and create lots of great content for us!
