PICTURESQUE MAGIC - #AWALKTHROUGH LONDON

Being a huge Harry Potter fan that I am (where are you Potterheads?), I would definitely visit Leadenhall Market, the place where Diagon Alley and the Leaky Cauldron are located. Outside of the Wizarding World, Leadenhall Market is a beautiful Victorian building with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to buy fresh food. Thanks to the beautiful roofing, it's also a perfect activity for London's famous rainy days.

For that extra dose of magic, the next place you'll feel at home could be one of these fantastic London bookshops. Dark and mysterious or playful and fun? Well, that's up to you to decide!

(Just recently, half of the PICKMOTION team got sorted into their Hogwarts houses, and it turns out that we have quite a few Ravenclaws and Slytherins in the office - which means you're more likely to find us in the antique and mysterious shop!)

Another great place to visit, whatever the weather, is Sky Garden! The highest garden in the UK, offering 360-degree views from its observation deck, giving you spectacular views of the city. Sky Garden is located on top of the Walkie-Talkie Tower and has two restaurants and bars (you can bring your own picnic though!) and is free to enter.

Let's go on - Little Venice in the London district of Maida Vale! Here, beautiful houseboats and picturesque Georgian and Victorian houses with palm trees in the gardens line up on both sides of the canal. A perfect and romantic short break.

After a long day of sightseeing and experiencing, nothing is more refreshing than a cold beer. Stop by the Churchill Arms Pub or Neal's Yard - both places that will not only quench your thirst, but also please your eye with all the ivy and beautiful flowers climbing the walls. Want something fancier? In that case, the igloos at the Coppa Club will serve you both - a great view of Tower Bridge and a drink of your choice.

To get a perfect overview of London, don't miss the pretty pastel world of Notting Hill - a place that is already famous in the London Instagram community.

Of course, there are also the world-famous sights in London that you can't miss if you've never seen them before. A good way to do this is to walk along the Thames. Starting from London Bridge Station, the route passes the Millenium Bridge, the Tate Modern (be sure to enjoy a coffee and the view from the cafe bar and observation deck!) and the Royal National Theatre. After crossing Waterloo Bridge, you'll pass the National Gallery on your way to Piccadilly Circus. If you continue to Buckingham Palace and along Birdcage Walk towards Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, you'll find all the important sites in about 2 hours! Just don't forget to bring your raincoat.
