Valentine's Day gift for your partner

There are certainly many reasons why your partner is special to you. The person makes you laugh, is always there for you and even shares your favorite food with you! But does your better half know all these little, lovely reasons? Surprise your sweetheart with a jar full of reasons why you love him or her!

For this idea you need:

  • Colorful paper or our template
  • Colorful pens
  • Scissors
  • Glass (with or without lid)

Take a moment and write down all the reasons why you love your sweetheart on colorful little pieces of paper. If you sign up for our newsletter by 2/12/22 at 2 p.m., we'll even give you a template to print out and write on! Cut out the pieces and then fold them up so that you can't read everything right away.

Next, find a nice jar (with or without a lid) in which you can collect all your reasons. Decorate your jar with a bow or a crafted heart that reveals what is hidden in the jar and you have a really nice and, above all, personal surprise for your loved one! Your sweetheart can now always pick out a piece when he or she is missing you or needs a few loving words and will immediately be cheered up by your personal words!

A little gift for your loved ones!

Would you like to let your dear friends know with personal words why they are special to you? With similar snippets full of loving words, you can also make your best friends very happy! How about in the form of little fortune cookies?

For this idea you need:

  • Colorful paper or our template
  • Colorful foam rubber
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Textile adhesive

Use our template, which you will receive for free to print out in our newsletter on February 12, 2022, or take some colored paper and prepare small snippets yourself. Next, write down all the reasons why your friends are special in your eyes or why you particularly appreciate them.

Now get the foam rubber ready and use a pencil to draw round shapes of the same size on it. Tip: You can use a glass, cup or small bowl as a template so that the circle always looks the same size and even. Then cut out the circles.

Now fold the circles into a semicircle and glue them together at the top with a little fabric glue or hot glue. Make sure that the sides remain open so that you can push the little messages in there later. Now press the smooth side of the semicircle with your finger and glue the two sides back together. Your fortune cookie is ready!

Now fold your pieces and push them into one of the open sides of your fortune cookie. Add them to a small package for your loved ones or use them as lovely table decorations at a shared dinner!

DIY matchbox with love message

You can also send wonderfully loving messages with a small matchbox!

For this idea you need:

  • A matchbox
  • Black and gold paper
  • Golden Edding
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive

Empty your matchbox and use it as a template on the black and gold paper. Cut two squares out of the black paper to fill the front and inside of the box. You will also need a square of the gold paper, but make sure that the length extends slightly beyond the box.

Before you stick the black paper on the box, draw a small circle on the right half of the sheet and cut it out with scissors. Put the paper on the matchbox and trace the circle on the box. Cut out the circle there too and now stick the paper on the box. You should now have a small hole in the package. Fold the sides of the gold paper down so that the sides point towards the inside of the matchbox. Use some glue to attach the gold paper firmly there. On the last piece of black paper, cut something off the left side in the shape of a semicircle. Stick the result onto the gold paper. Now write on the black paper with the gold Edding - draw little stars on it and write the text "I love you to the moon and back" on the front. Push the box into the package and your message of love is ready! When you pull the box out, a small moon appears, which makes your message even clearer!

A box full of surprises!

With a small personalized box you can give your loved ones many little surprises at once!

For this idea you need:

  • A beautiful box
  • Coloured paper, postcards, stationery
  • Pens
  • Scissors

With this idea you can design the box completely individually! How about 12 date ideas with your sweetheart or invitations for your best friend?
