"Our concept is to present ourselves as a lifestyle store," says Katariina. "Our muse is the woman in her prime." She adds humorously: "The best age can be your whole life." To make the most of life, it is important to enjoy the little things: "That includes morning coffee and feeling the first rays of sunshine on your face." The fact that the little things are valued in Muster is also evident in the interior design: There are many little things to buy, always made with attention to detail: In addition to textiles, there is furniture, items for the bathroom and dining area, and everything is kept in soft, pastel tones.
When you enter the store, time seems to have stood still: alongside more modern, Scandinavian simplicity, there are many objects that seem to have come from a bygone era: golden, ornate mirrors and romantic lampshades are joined by simple, minimalist vases and photo frames. "We want to show that you should treat yourself, your home and your loved ones as precious treasures," says Katariina.
So what makes Muster special? Katariina is sure: "Our team is special. We love living just as much as we want to show the world with Muster. We believe in it." Enjoying the moment is not only Muster's motto, it is also what brought Katariina to Pickmotion: "Writing beautiful words to friends and family means enjoying the little things in life." Katariina explains how postcards from Pickmotion differ from other cards: "There is heart and soul in them. You can just feel it!"
