The perfect game for your next game night or as a fun and, above all, unique gift for good friends. Download our "Guess who?" template and design the game to suit your taste: for example, print out pictures from your family or circle of friends or choose well-known celebrities, cartoon characters or your own illustrations and you'll have your very own individual game that will increase the fun factor many times over.

For your own “Guess who?” game you need the following materials:

All materials for your Guess Who? game

And this is how you make your own “Guess who?” game:

Print out our template twice and stick it on a suitable piece of cardboard to make the game board more stable. Place your game board on a cutting mat and use a craft knife to cut three sides of each square. The last side of the square should not be cut so that the field on the side can be opened up. Repeat the step with the second game board.

Step-by-step to your game

Next, think about which faces you would like to have on your game board! To do this, select pictures (portrait photos are best) and insert them into our template for faces so that you have the perfect size for the game board. Here you can be particularly creative and design the game individually for you or the person you are giving it to! Print out your selection three times (twice for the game boards and once again for the prize draw) and cut them out. Then stick a set of faces on each of the two game boards - but leave the single space at the very beginning empty! Also make sure not to stick the faces on the game boards in the same order, as this will make guessing a little more difficult.

Customize the game with your own images

The best thing to do is to put the third set of photos in a bag or a small box - this is the pot from which the faces are randomly drawn at the beginning of the game. Put a paper clip in the first field to hold the face that you will draw from the pot when you play. That's it: your own "Guess who?" game is ready!

If you want to give the game as a gift, it's best to write down the rules and you've made a brilliant, unique gift! For those who can't remember the rules so well, here's an overview:

"Guess who?" or "Who is that?" is a fun game for two players! Everyone gets a playing field and opens up all the faces. Then a face is drawn from the pot and pinned to the front field. Now you have to guess which person your opponent has drawn. To do this, take turns asking a question that can be answered with "yes" or "no". Depending on the answer, you can fold down the faces that do not fit the description.

Example:

Question: “Does your person have blonde hair?”
Answer: “No.”
→ all people who have blonde hair can be folded down because the description does not match the person your opponent has drawn.

Keep asking each other questions, taking turns, until you have an idea who the person could be. Instead of asking a question about the person, you can ask directly whether the person you are looking for is "XY". If you guessed correctly, you win! If you guessed wrong, just keep playing and it's your opponent's turn next.

The Guess Who? game is finished!

As simple and easy as the game may sound, it is fun for everyone involved! The special thing about your own version is that you don't just have to limit yourself to appearance, but you can also ask more personal questions that you know or should know about the person. A question like: "Does the person have a pet?" is probably not visible in the picture, but it makes the game all the more exciting and amusing! The game is also a great way to get to know the people even better.
