In 2015, Jenny travelled from a small village near Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt out into the wide world - to Berlin, to be precise. To be honest, it wasn't a trip around the world, but it still felt like travelling to another world. At the age of 17, she was drawn to the capital city to become a graphic designer and Jenny has been part of our team since 2019: first as a trainee, now as a senior in communication design and is responsible for the impressive design of our retailer catalogues, among other things.
What Jenny likes most about Berlin is that it has all the advantages of a cosmopolitan city, but at the same time it is not far from home, where she regularly visits her family and friends. After moving around Berlin a few times, Jenny now lives with her boyfriend in Lichtenberg. Together they have adopted a little dog from Romania: Little Iggy, with whom they both enjoy spending time when travelling or at home. Jenny also discovered her passion for cooking when she moved to Berlin. She is particularly interested in vegan/vegetarian food and loves trying out new recipes. When she's not cooking, Jenny enjoys going out to eat (especially Asian food) or spending her free time at concerts, exhibitions or flea markets in Friedrichshain. Of course, she also likes to curl up at home. Preferably with a few episodes of cosy mysteries such as Brokenwood, Inspector Barnaby or Death in Paradise, which she enjoys with a nice warm mug of peppermint tea in her hand.
What characterises her as a person? Tidiness, a healthy dose of sarcasm and down-to-earth cosiness. Her favourite card is "einfach abschalten" (simply switch off) which we created together with @jannikobenhoff, as it perfectly reflects her down-to-earth attitude and her love of secluded cosiness in nature, surrounded by beautiful forests.
