Where exactly is your store located?

Our shop is located in the heart of Würzburg, in a side street (Gressengasse) of the lower market square - the postal address "Marktplatz 3a" is actually a bit confusing, as the shop is in Gressengasse and not directly on the market square. However, this street also contains the historic wine house "Stachel" with its romantic inner courtyard, so that every tourist visiting it passes directly in front of our shop window and thus the Pickmotion card stand.

What is the basic concept of your store?

Beads from all over the world made from various materials and a large selection of accessories for making your own jewelry. Jewelry can be made at a table and we provide the tools. Those who are less creative are spoiled for choice with beautiful finished jewelry collections, some of which are templates and inspiration from our own workshop. Stephisimo, Konplott and Gubo design collections, as well as beautiful silver jewelry, round off the range. We also stock unusual buttons made from unusual materials and special shapes.
We also hold evening jewelry making workshops and have a repair service.

What is special about you?

The special thing about our shop is that we have a broad target audience. Our customer base consists of all age groups - from schoolgirls who want to make earrings or bracelets for little money using inexpensive materials, to fashionistas who are looking for a more exclusive piece of jewelry or expensive buttons to go with an outfit, elderly ladies who want to have something repaired, or nuns who need beads for handicrafts. Locals and tourists alike shop with us.
In May this year we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary. We have never moved and have been in the same location since 1989.

How do you fit in with Pickmotion and what do you particularly like about Pickmotion?

We are a good fit for Pickmotion because the motifs and sayings move with the times, just like we do. Funny sayings put customers and employees in a good mood. That's why we like the matching and varied designs that go wonderfully with our pearls and all occasions.
