1. inspiring street style
Maison & Objet means endless commuting – every day I have an hour there and an hour back to observe the eccentric fashion practices of Parisians and Parisians – OUI!
Ahh, and there is an account that is exclusively interested in trash…
2. Flower Power
The fair itself is of monstrous proportions, so I never manage to get even a rough overview. But when it was being set up, @polspotten's tropical garden caught my eye.
London-based Marcin Rusak, who magically waters flowers for eternity, was named “rising talent”.
3 Beauty everywhere
Instead of the Louvre, I love the small, fine art museums in Paris like the Musée Rodin or the Musée Picasso. The latter is currently showing a Picasso-Giacometti exhibition. Both grew up in their fathers' studios and were already gifted artists at the age of 15.
I always have to go to the parks in Paris. But this time I discovered a new park: Parc des Buttes Chaumont – you can't imagine a more romantic setting! The small pavilion with a view of the Sacre Coeur can be reached via a suspension bridge.
4 Our friendly neighbours in the BELOVED area
I also discovered some products at our neighboring stands that I can highly recommend.
Fisura doesn't just make wonderful light boxes - no, there are also cacti and pineapples as colorful wax candles (lighting them is prohibited!).
A small cardboard samurai that is available as an origami craft set – my secret favorite. Unfortunately, Origami Samurai itself is not on Instagram The creators told me with a challenging smile on their faces that they need 20 minutes for one character…
The beautiful Italian brand Write&Sketch has a distinctive style for those who love shapes and colors.
While the very young company sweet & sour from the Netherlands takes up just about everything that we already appreciate: rainbow colors, for example.
5 Paris Art Festival
Later, in a small market hall, I suddenly found myself in the opposite direction to the mega fair, a small art festival with incredibly good music. The diversity in Paris is simply the best.
