Our newest addition to the PICKMOTION family is, for once, not a Berliner, as she only moved to our beloved capital from beautiful Bremen three years ago. Sharon grew up in the Hanseatic city on the Weser. After graduating from high school, however, she wanted to go out into the wide world for a longer period of time to discover and experience something different and new. So she ended up working as an au pair in the USA for a year, near the capital Washington DC.
Back home, she completed her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on business entrepreneurship and worked at the chair for start-ups in the field of social media, event planning and digitalization. For her master's degree, she had already put out feelers to Berlin for the first time and carried out part of her research for her master's thesis here. After graduating, she decided to move to Berlin and has now been living in this lively metropolis for 3 years. For her, Berlin is a special and very unusual city, which is a perfect match for her with its many cafés, bars and restaurants, but also with its great architecture and tangible history. Today, Sharon can hardly imagine living in any other city.
Traveling, however, is very important to her - she is a real city hopper, because city trips are definitely her thing. Her favorite: Tel Aviv. But she can also tick cities like Porto, Barcelona, Athens and many others off her list. Of course, she doesn't neglect trips into nature, but mainly she enjoys the hustle and bustle of daily life, the very unique city culture that prevails there. Sharon also loves swimming, in summer she goes to the lakes in the Berlin area and in winter to the exceptionally beautiful, historic city baths, whose architecture never ceases to fascinate her. She is also a plant lover with a green thumb, she grows her own seedlings and has almost transformed her own kingdom at home into a small urban jungle, because she likes the feeling of being able to feel nature within her own four walls.
We are delighted to have Sharon on the team with her determined, solution-oriented, cheerful nature. Her experience and know-how take PICKMOTION to a whole new level in the field of digitalization, but she is also a real asset to everyone on a personal level, because as a friendly, communicative team player she knows how to work together to make a project a success. But of course, with all of this, a little bit of craziness is also a must, and Sharon shows this with her favorite postcard motif "stay funky" (ZG-0898-EN), which we created together with @woodenflamingo .
