@laura.liebt gives a diary-like insight into Laura's life and work. The black wall in the living room, the record collection and cooking are all part of it, as are topics that appeal to many women - body awareness and empowerment in everyday life. With a lot of humor and Swabian charm and a good tongue, Laura shares thoughts, sometimes criticizes Instagram and is simply extremely authentic. "I started reading blogs early on and for me it is completely natural to share my thoughts. I don't even think about privacy."
We ask her if she has become a Berliner in the meantime? She vehemently denies this - out of modesty, because Berliners would be outraged by such statements - but Laura openly admits that she has loved everything about Berlin since she first got off the subway at Warschauer Strasse six years ago. The cool summers, the street art, Friedrichshain. "But I will always be a Swabian at heart."
Laura became interested in photography as a teenager and earned the money for her first camera herself. She then completed an apprenticeship at a photo agency specializing in wedding photography, together with another PICKMOTION photographer - @oh_hedwig . When she was sent out alone for the first time after a few weddings as an assistant, her heart almost stopped with excitement. Laura now uses the weddings to finance her studies in communication design at the HTW in Berlin. As much as she loves her job, in the long term she doesn't want to go to weddings every summer weekend.
Despite the impressive 180 weddings she has photographed, wedding photography has not become routine to this day - a little excitement is always part of it, especially when Laura has a long journey. After completing a job, she packs a lovely package for her couples - with a few real prints. She has even developed friendships with many former customers. But honestly, who wouldn't want Laura as their photographer on their big day when she says things like: "Every love is unique and it is an honor to be able to capture it and accompany such a private moment."
