What is the basic concept of your store, what do you want to convey?
Our philosophy is simple: "Nothing is excluded!", which means we are a holistically oriented shop that serves all areas of life and is open to everything. We are always on the hunt for the latest trends and also try to set trends ourselves here in Dortmund. In order to experience the attitude to life that we radiate first hand, we have also integrated a café into our shop.
In your opinion, how do you fit into Pickmotion and how did you come across Pickmotion?
We always keep our eyes and ears open; it was simply inevitable that we would come across Pickmotion. And because Pickmotion is so surprisingly refreshing and outstanding, just like us in Dortmund, we simply had to include you in our range. The creative implementation of modern photography in a very special retro design is so close to our concept of the balance between nostalgia, modernity and lifestyle that it is quite natural that we fit together.
What is special about your shop? How do you combine art and culture?
What is special about us is that we don't just try to combine art and culture, no, we live art and culture every day in our shop. You can see and feel this in the range of products, but the shop café in particular offers the best opportunities, because many of the products we sell can be experienced and enjoyed here. We are often a little ahead of our time - for example, we already had mate soft drinks in our range when they were still completely unknown in the Ruhr area, and we were pioneers in the region with the current trend of small houseplants. It is also not surprising that there are often football readings in our shop - because the love of football cannot be denied.
What do you particularly like about Pickmotion?
The appeal of Pickmotion's card design is that it evokes childhood memories of old Polaroid instant photography and that this is combined with great, modern images and is simply perfectly implemented.
