Späth'sche Baumschule - Sparkling lights in the fir forest
On the third weekend of Advent, the Späth tree nursery's Christmas market "Glowing lights in the pine forest" will take place for the last time this year. The name says it all and a true glow of lights will extend across the historic grounds. Over 100 stalls filled with impressive handicrafts, jewelry, fabrics and many delicacies will be accompanied by atmospheric live music. There will also be children's programs with fairy tales and music and you can choose your own Christmas tree from the pine forest and take it home with you.
The Christmas market in the Späth'sche Baumschule will take place from 10-11 December 2022, admission costs 5-8€, children up to 16 years are free.
Christmas market at Charlottenburg Palace
A romantic backdrop and beautiful lighting can be admired at the Christmas market at Charlottenburg Palace. Around 250 international exhibitors offer unique handicrafts, gift ideas and, of course, a few tasty treats. The glittering light installations and natural decorative materials give the Christmas market at Charlottenburg Palace a particularly cozy and somewhat rustic atmosphere. If you are very hungry or just a little hungry, the winter open-air restaurant is a particularly good option! There you can sit in a heated pagoda and enjoy international dishes and snacks.
Unfortunately, this year will probably be the last time the Christmas market will take place. However, the organizers are trying to save the Christmas market with the help of a petition . So don't miss the chance and be sure to check out their website !

Lucia Christmas Market
The Lucia Christmas market is located in the historic Kulturbrauerei in the middle of Berlin and yet is comfortably embedded. The Christmas market has a Scandinavian touch and brings fun and joy for young and old with beautiful exhibitors as well as a small knight's castle, a nostalgic swing carousel and a visit from Santa Claus.
The Lucia Christmas market is open daily until December 22, 2022. Admission is free.

Magic of Lights at Spandau Citadel
Another highlight in Berlin is the magic of lights in the Spandau Citadel! This location has been an alternative location for the Christmas market in Spandau's old town for the last two years and has now become an absolute favorite of Berliners. Surrounded by historic walls, this Christmas market is great just because of its particularly cozy location. Here, too, the smell of roasted almonds is particularly good and there are many beautiful, traditional stalls with handicrafts and other gift ideas to discover. There is an extra portion of fun at the new ice skating rink and two curling rinks!
The magic of lights in Spandau Citadel is open until December 30th, admission is between €3.50 and €4.50, children up to 16 years are free.
