Keukenhof (tulip fields in Holland)
Rich colors, exceptionally designed flowerbeds and more than seven million tulips and plants can be found in Keukenhof, the tulip paradise of the world. The brightly colored flowers grow around trees, line immaculate, lush green lawns and cover the banks of waters. And the typical Dutch tulip fields, in which endless rows of the colorful flowers stretch to the horizon, are also right next door.
Fuji Shiba Zakura (Japan)
A natural spectacle that could hardly be more impressive. Every year from mid-April to the end of May, the landscape at the foot of Mount Fuji shines with its fuchsia-pink carpet. More than 800,000 Shibazakura flowers of five different species bloom here. We know them better as phlox.
Yunnan (China)
In March, seemingly endless rapeseed fields bloom in Luoping County in China's Yunnan Province. This breathtaking event covers the entire region in a yellow-gold carpet and offers a beautiful and incomparable sight.
Hallerbos (Belgium)
The blue forest. Not far from Brussels lies the Hallerbos, a mixed forest that is one of the most beautiful forests in the world. In spring, a bright blue carpet of bluebells covers the forest floor. The trees stand close together in a sea of flowers and with the right sunlight you feel transported into a fairytale atmosphere. The hyacinth network is in full bloom at the beginning of May and is estimated to have formed around 400 years ago.
Goosebumps in South Africa
As spring bloomers in South Africa, these daisies would actually be autumn bloomers for us, but since this sea of flowers sees the light of day in the southern hemisphere's spring and is simply beautiful, we don't want to keep it from you. An overwhelming sight of daisies blooming in white, yellow and orange in the coastal region of Namaqualand in the Northern Cape Province. In addition, around 1,000 other plant species such as marigolds, lilies and succulents can be admired in the 930 hectares of the Skilpad Wildflower Reserve.
