Born and raised in Brandenburg, Sabrina left her small-town home in southern Brandenburg 4 years ago and moved to Berlin. She's not really a city person, so it didn't have to be one of the hip districts in the city centre - a nice little house on the outskirts of Berlin was just the thing. Here, she can enjoy all the big-city benefits, as it's not far into the city, and yet it's in a quiet suburban location, surrounded by lots of nature. That is exactly what she has come to appreciate and love - the perfect balance between city and nature.
By now, Sabrina is a mother of two small children. In addition to her sporty daughter Amelie (3 years old) and the lively Alexander (1 year old), her family also includes her two cats Ronny and Gerry. All of them keep her busy, so she takes breaks and escapes the stress of everyday life by grabbing her running shoes and going for a run in nature. Breathe in - breathe out - recharge your batteries! There is power in rest! This has become her attitude to life. That's why her favourite card is ZG-0461-DE “In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft” (which translates into “Strength lies in tranquillity”), which we have created with @teresacfreitas. When life gets turbulent again, she reminds herself of this and tries to calm down!
A milestone this year: She and her fiancé Christoph are getting married this year at Lake Werbellin. Last year, her sweet heart proposed to her after 4 years of being together. Right after his arrival back from Tokyo from the Olympic Games, because he is a national coach in water diving and therefore travels a lot around the world, but Sabrina comes to terms with it and has enough power to cope with everyday life and the kids on her own. The fact that she is starting again as part of the PICKMOTION family after her one-year parental leave makes her overjoyed. "There is no other team as great and family-like as this one! Every day I go to work full of motivation and joy!"
Sabrina is a down-to-earth person. She loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking and loves being in nature. Her definition of happiness: don't let stress get to you, love the little things in life and live in the moment. The glass is half full, not half empty! Accept the things you can’t change, it's not worth getting upset about them. And what you can change - do it! Life is too short to be unhappy.
