Julia studies Multimedia & Communication in Ansbach and focuses on media design and audio production. During her studies, she already glanced at photography, layout and UX/UI as well as audio recordings and their mixing up to the final song. She was also able to gain her first professional experience in a small start-up. While looking for an internship in the field of graphics, Julia finally came across PICKMOTION and is now actively supporting us in communication design in the marketing team.
In her free time, Julia loves to surround herself with music. At every opportunity, she turns on a good song or practices an instrument herself. She also loves to sing and dance - whether it's ballet, standard dance or alone in her room. When there's no music playing, she relaxes by doing yoga, watching a series or enjoying the company of her friends. She also likes to explore Berlin and especially enjoys everything that has to do with history, art and the alternative lifestyle such as the many beautiful old brick industrial buildings!
Julia's personal motto is: "Don't take yourself too seriously" - because sometimes stupid things happen and it's okay to laugh at yourself. Julia can actually sing a little song about that as little accidents seem to like happening around her every now and then. Just to mention two: she once got lost in a museum on a school trip with a school friend or was locked in the bathroom in a hostel and the staff had to break the door lock. In moments like these, Julia prefers to take them with humour and look back on with a smile. By the way, her favourite card from Pickmotion is "Love" (SP-0126-DE), which was created in cooperation with @lotta_karotta. We love Julia's humorous attitude and are very happy to have her in our team!
